The federal government can assist state and localities through grants with fewer strings and less bureaucracy but should not take schools out of the hands of parents and local officials. We should encourage the rights of parents to choose the school and what’s best for their child’s education.

Recently, I talked to a young Marine at Walter Reed Hospital. He had lost both legs in Iraq but was looking to the future. I asked him what he planned to do? He said he wanted to work with a nonprofit organization that was doing a lot to help people. Then he looked at me and said “I just thought it was time I gave something back.”

That young man, who has given so much for America and yet still asks to give more, is typical of the men and women of the United States armed forces. Our country has shed more blood for the freedom of other people than all the other countries in the world combined. We are steeped in the tradition of honor and sacrifice for the greater good. We are proud of this heritage. I believe that Americans are once again ready to achieve this greater good: which is nothing less than the security, prosperity, and unity of our country.

Se vi trovate fra le scatole qualche ignorantone amante delle teorie negazioniste e complottiste sbattete loro in faccia questo link.

Certo che di persone disposte a credere a tutto ce ne sono parecchie. Venderebbero anche loro madre per trovare elementi che possano dar loro ragione.

Un documentario spazzatura che gira (non metto il link manco se lo chiedete in ginocchio) nella rete raggiunge poi il culmine con un climax crescente di menzogne e fantasia. E gli adulatori e creduloni, ignoranti, amanti del complotto ci cascano come i fessi.

Internet é genio e sregolatezza, sterco e ambrosia.

Ridicolo

Avrei giurato di trovarmi, per la prima volta in assoluto, dalla parte della maggioranza nel sondaggio di Repubblica. Ho votato NO.

No perché é un provvedimento che non ha una visione d’insieme del problema. Oggi i lavavetri, domani i venditori ambulanti non autorizzati, postdomani le prostitute per strada. Per poi ritrovare le stesse facce qualche mese dopo, quando la tempesta é passata.

Questa é pura propaganda, altro che tolleranza zero.

Un lavavetri va punito se infrange la legge in caso di aggressione o danni. Se non ha i documenti in regola ed un regolare permesso di soggiorno lo si rimanda a casa. Voler far pagare una multa a chi soldi non ne ha o sbatterli in galera per 3 mesi é una punizione che ha dell’assurdo.

Si tagliano le mani e si lascia in pace il cervello.

La veritá é che non si vuole colpire i responsabili delle associazioni criminose nella rete dei quali finiscono, in questo caso, i lavavetri, ma che gestiscono traffici ben piú fruttuosi e delinquenziali.

La veritá é che non si ha il coraggio di farlo.

Tolleranza zero é ben altra cosa. Funziona se é accompagnata da una serie coordinata di provvedimenti, non con rimedi palliativi.

Ratzinger a Londra

Tira brutta aria in Italia, per tutti.

Gira voce che Ratzinger stia pensando di spostare la residenza a Londra. 😀

Gli unici a rimanere al di fuori da polemiche per vantaggi fiscali sono, ma guarda un po’, i sindacati. Mi chiedo come sia possibile.

Si potrebbe proprio discutere dell’utilitá di Chiesa e sindacato. Almeno la basilica di San Pietro attira turisti. I sindacati fanno scappare le industrie.

E tu, che stai leggendo, sei a posto col fisco????

E poi ci chiediamo perché si evade il fisco. L’Italia basata sulla meritocrazia….

L’amore rende ciechi e non solo l’amore

La Germania, il Paradiso in terra.

Io ci son rimasto a lungo ma devo essermi perso nel limbo.

Bastano due dati di carattere economico e sociale per capire che la veritá é un poco diversa.

La disoccupazione nei Laender della ex DDR si aggira attorno al 20% e il sistema produttivo é caratterizzato da una forte presenza di denaro pubblico.

I tedeschi “occidentali” non vedono di buon occhio quelli dell’Est.

A 17 anni dalla riunificazione c’é ancora parecchia strada da fare. Una cosa si puó affermare con sicurezza: i finanziamenti statali a pioggia, come nel caso del Sud Italia, sono un danno per il Paese e per le generazioni future.

Il resto sono pippe mentali e si sa che troppe pippe portano alla cecitá.
